Want to Make Money With Clickbank? – Start by Building a Sales …

by: Thomas Palmieri

If you’ve been to the Clickbank website and have researched an eBook you would like to promote, you may have seen almost all of the publisher programs have an affiliate help page.

If your hopes are to make money with Clickbank, it would be wise to entertain using some, if not all of the information contained there. Your ultimate success with these programs will come by way of educating yourself about the Clickbank product you want to sell.

Once you’ve reviewed the programs in the Clickbank marketplace and chosen one you think would be profitable to promote, before you start, consider building a “Sales Funnel Marketing Campaign” first.

If you’ve been an affiliate marketer for anytime, you’ve probably heard of a “Sales Funnel”, if not, just picture a fuel funnel in your mind.

Plenty of fuel at the top that funnels it’s way through a small hole at the bottom.

For Clickbank affiliates the extreme top of the sales funnel is where they are going to find most of their work, most of their traffic, and “0” profits….

But….

To make money with Clickbank affiliates need to focus on the upper part of the funnel!

Here’s Why.

Let’s assume you have your Clickbank product and you have been to the affiliate tutorials of the publisher.

Virtually all of the top selling publishers give you a copy of their mailing list script, and instruct you to start a mailing list of your own by allowing you to give away free items the publisher has for you, found in their affiliate marketing tutorials.

Once you have the free product to give away, this becomes the point at the top of your funnel where you will will drive your traffic to.

If you have already have a blog or website, you could post the publishers free product there and drive traffic to your site through article marketing or social networking sites.

I would not advise pay per click programs for a Clickbank product first time out of the box as the publisher of the eBook probably has that already covered, or if it’s a popular Clickbank product, the competition on pay per click advertising might be too great an expense to realize a good profit in return.

But, there are many who use PPC successfully. Although, it’s best to promote products for free at first. If you’re having good success with free marketing, then by all means, consider PPC.

Most affiliates who make money with Clickbank use the top of the funnel to capture the email address of the person receiving the free gift. This is how they will start their email campaign, recommended by the publisher.

Which will bring us to the middle of the sales funnel.

At this stage, the Clickbank affiliate will start to use the publishers pre-written script to follow up with the subscriber on a pre determined schedule.

The assumption is it will take 12 emails to get a person to purchase a product. The desired bottom position of the sales funnel.

While your email campaign is underway, many of the original subscribers will opt out on the mailing list and only a scant few will make it to the lowest part of the sales funnel.

To make money with Clickbank this is where your subscriber will purchase the publishers product, and where you have reached your Clickbank commission.

Reaching Your Small Business Sales and Marketing Goals by Stacy …

by: Stacy Karacostas

“A goal without a plan is nothing but a dream”

Are you on track to reach your business, sales or marketing goals?

If your answer is no—or you’re not sure—believe me you are not alone. I can’t even begin to count the number of small business I’ve run across that aren’t on track to meet their goals—or have no way of knowing if they are or not.

Why do so many entrepreneurs struggle to reach their goals?

Because although setting sales and revenue goals and making resolutions is a good place to start, you have to do more than that. If you truly want reach your goals, you have to have a plan. And you have to have deadlines for taking action.

You see, goals and dreams don’t become reality just because you want them to. Neither do resolutions.

Even if you start out strong, without a plan and concrete deadlines it’s far too easy to find an excuse, or create a roadblock. Or simply put off for today what you can do tomorrow.

It’s also easy to give up because achieving your goals just seems too darn difficult. Luckily, humans have an amazing capacity to change, adapt and overcome—even against tremendous odds.

Just think about the people who climb big mountains like Everest…

Having been an avid extreme sports participant for half my life, I’ve had a chance to chat with quite a few successful mountaineers. Personally, as much as I love mountain biking, whitewater kayaking and backcountry skiing, I’ll never understand why they do it.

Every single mountain climber I’ve ever met agrees that high-altitude mountaineering is a suffer-fest. The closer they get to their goal, the more agonizing each step becomes—literally. Not to mention the fact that it is incredibly dangerous.

Thankfully, for most of us, our small business goals are much easier to achieve than reaching the summit of a mountain like Everest. But there is a lot we can learn from the way these mountaineers go about getting to the top.

How do mountaineers manage to summit major peaks time and again?

By approaching mountain climbing the same you should approach achieving any goal…

1) They create a plan

Mountaineers spend literally months planning food, logistics, gear, their route, their possible summit dates and more for a trip that may only last a couple of weeks—or less. Without all this planning they would never be successful.

Your goals may not be as difficult, dangerous or extreme, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t devote some time to writing out a plan for reaching them.

2) They set smaller goals with deadlines

Mountaineers don’t go from Base Camp to the summit of Everest in one day. They know it takes time to climb a big mountain. And if their sights are set only on the end goal it’s hard to maintain a positive attitude. Because that end goal is always a long ways off.

It’s much easier, and more rewarding, to reach big goals in stages. Plus it gives you a chance to get used to the changes you encounter every step of the way. That’s why mountaineers set a date to reach Base Camp, another to go to “Camp 1”, and so on until finally they make one last push to the summit—ideally on their predetermined summit day.

You can, and should, do the same.

3) They remember to plan for the down climb

Mountaineers always say just reaching the summit isn’t enough; it’s only a successful climb if you make it back down. The same holds true for your goals.

If you want to stay on course and truly achieve success, you have to do more than just plan for achieving your short-term goals, or even reaching your “summit”. Instead you have to think about what you’re going to do next to sustain your goals, maintain your new, successful behavior and keep moving forward.

The bottom line is…If you really want to reach your business goals and achieve your dreams, you have to start by making a plan. Abe Lincoln had it right when he said “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” Most people avoid planning like the plague, but it really does not have to be difficult. All you need to do is spend a few minutes writing down your main goal, choosing smaller goals to reach along the way, and making a list of what you need to do to make it all happen. And don’t forget to include deadlines for when you are going to get each action item done.

So, don’t just pick a goal and hope for it to happen. Spend a little time deciding how you are going to make those goals a reality—then take action. You’ll be amazed at the great heights you can reach when you do!

Business Card For The Salesman by Janice Jenkins – ArticleCity.com

by: Janice Jenkins

One of the most regular customers of business card printing services is the classic salesman or saleswoman. Anyone in sales and marketing will tell you that business card printing is a key component in business networking and sales. In fact, there are specific business card printing features and design habits that one must adopt, to really produce a true sales business card that really works to help in a salesman or saleswoman.

In this article, I will teach you how to create a salesman’s or saleswoman’s business card. If you want to sell something or do a little marketing along with your custom business card, these are the key features you should focus on.

The right sales layout.

First we have the “sales” layout. A traditional business card with a name at the center will not be as exciting and as effective for most marketing purposes. You will need to tweak your layout so that it looks more interesting and inviting for sales. So it is best to explore your options for a sales layout by looking at other kinds of business card configurations and layouts.

One of the best sales layouts for business cards that you should watch out for are double-sided business cards. In this configuration, the business card has printed content, on both sides of the card. This allows from twice the content as normal business cards letting you add more sales content. If you are a beginner at selling or marketing through business cards, this should be a great starting point for a sales layout.

Keep in mind though that there are other interesting layout options such as vertical business cards, folded business cards and even custom shaped business cards. Once you tried out double sided business cards, you might want to try out other options.

The best background color choice.

Now, whatever your choice of layout or configuration might be, the next thing that you should focus on to make a true sales business card is your decision for background color. The background color will not only determine your business card design’s look and feel, but it will also add to the overall impact and distinctness of your business card. To optimize your business cards for marketing, it is best to use a color background that is totally different from your rivals. So if your rivals in marketing use white, blue or even black business cards, you might want to chance yours to something more unique. How about a pink business card or a deep red business card? The more original you are with the color, the more visible your business cards should be. This will give you quite an edge when you are selling things in your custom business cards.

Placing the marketing picture.

The image inside your business cards also plays a vital role in a sales business card. After all, most advertisements rely on images to really “sell” things. So make sure that you place the correct image properly in your business cards. Using professionally made product photographs, you should place your images at the key visible location in your business card.

For double sided business cards, you should of course consider putting the image at the center of one of the sides of the business card. In fact, it is highly recommended that you take up one whole side of the card so that readers can get the whole “picture” and see your product clearly. Otherwise, if your business cards are just single sided, it is good to place the image on the top left or top right of your layout since these are the initial areas where people look. This should maximize your business cards for sales.

The effective sales content.

Lastly, to really create a powerful sales business card, you will need to add in effective sales content. Do not just tell people you are selling your product. Tell them how it benefits their lives and the easy ways they can order it. People need to be taught and directed sometimes for them to really act on a sales message. So you must put those details explicitly in your sales business card. Trust me this works.

So that is how you create a salesman’s business card. These are easy enough if you look at them clearly. So if you are selling something for your business, you might want to optimize your business cards using the tips above.
